More painful then recycling eaten glass. Unfortunately it was a painful experience. I mean when the bill came it hurt. As a Native Vermonter, now residing in TN, you pull into a mostly empty parking lot with no local tags you start to wonder. As you walk in you are charmed by the interior. We waited a minute or two for someone to greet us but when they did it was friendly. Our waiter, Dave was friendly and responsive. The meals were horrible at best. Our drink server was more then courteous when it came to refill the 5 children's sodas. When the bill arrived I found out why, a small glass of Ice with a shot of soda at $2.50 each times 5 kids times 3 each equals a very hard bill to swallow and huge profit for the vacant restaurant. I took my lumps and left. In today's world of free refills warn the client that yours are not, especially if you are very willing to offer them. The restaurant could be a gold mine with its charm and location. Unfortunately its more of one stop shop where they take your money knowing you will never come back.
Had an excellent meal there last evening - and it was Wednesday so all wine is half price. We were a group of 8 and everyone enjoyed their meal. We were the only large table, but the waiter was excellent - there when we needed him, but did not hover.
Terrible food and an uncaring staff. You needed a steak knife to cut the chicken and the beef brisket appeared to be boiled. Go anywhere but here!
We love it...Farm Fresh Food! ...and great music!
DO NOT GET THE RIBS! They act like they are doing you a favor by merely being your server.
