Just finished dinner there, so my thoughts are fresh... Decor and cleanliness were fine, as was the service. Our waitress described one of their specials that sounded quite good - beef medallions with a sun-dried tomato cream sauce, mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe. What a disappointment! I didn't receive "beef medallions" - I received what could best be described as a single, small beef tip carved into four flaccid little slices. They could have salvaged this with some exceptional flavor, but the entire meal was tasteless... The beef had no seasoning, the sauce was bland (Were those sun-dried tomatoes or pimentos in there??? Honestly couldn't tell...), and the mashed potato was lacking any sort of flavor. A little butter, salt & pepper, garlic would have made a huge difference. And then I get the bill... The $28.50 they charge just adds insult to injury. $10 more than anything else on the menu, and for a portion and quality of beef that I could outdo with a $5 footlong from Subway. Not impressed and won't return.

This is the second time we tried this restaurant. I wanted to try it again, my wife wanted to go somewhere else. I guess she was right. We were seated quickly, hardly anyone there at this point. We were brought bread, it was so so. I like the free refills on the soda. More on that later. Our waitress was pleasant. We ordered appetizers. It came fairly quick, fried mozzarella. It was good. My daughter and I ordered Chicken Parm. That's where our waitress turned into Houdini. She did the disappearing act. A bigger table came in, we were history. After that we had to almost beg the water person for things like more soda, our meal, more bread, etc. When the food came, it was not piping hot, it was not cold, seems like it was waiting somewhere in the bowls of this establishment to be delivered to our table. The food tasted good (could be the anticipation of finally getting what you ordered), everyone finished their meals. I paid the bill. My wife said when we were pulling away, (always seems to happen this way) she thought the bill was to much. I tried to add it up but they did not give me an itemized check. Just a credit card charge slip. My fault, should of asked. I guess we will never know. We really wanted this to be another place to eat as we visit Smuggs a lot and it is so close.

This place was refereed to us for dinner and we are very happy that we went. I have 2 pickey eaters and they loved the food at Stella Notte. My wife found some favorite's on the menu and they were just delicious. We will be visiting Stella Notte for dinner again this week...

Great atmosphere and delicious food! Our waitress, Kim, was wonderful! She gave me other great recommendations for things to do in town since the weather was a little less than desirable for skiing.

Don't order on a holiday eve. We were up here for Memorial Day weekend and we ordered take out and they ran out of food. So I cannot give a review on the food.
