Delicious food, excellent service, awesome atmosphere and music (much thanks for giving me the name of the band)! Great coffee makes my girlfriend's day and, in turn, it made mines! We'll be by the next time NJ invades Staunton!

What you would expect from a local coffeeshop. Strong wifi.
They treated me like a queen! I was visiting with my husband and had plenty of time on my hands. Lots of people in comfortable conversations or quietly using their computers. Even in the late morning rush the staff took time find me a gluten free muffin to go with my coffee. I went back for lunch. Inside was clean with a good health rating. The coffee was excellent and the young man making the cappuccinos actually new how to make them and took time to make each drink. Parking in the downtown is poor but Mug shots is well within walking distance from several Hotels/Motels. It is worth a visit if you want a meal with your coffee in a comfortable and clean coffee shop.
We are fortunate enough in Staunton to have no less than four really good, independently-owned places to sit and enjoy a great cup of coffee. And while I try to support them all, MugShots is my favorite. Great coffee, great staff, and great location. And every 10th cup is on them if you get your coffee card stamped. I am also a huge fan of the curried chicken salad sandwich. For $6 (with Route 11 chips and a pickle) it is one of the only lunches I ever eat outside of home.
