Brewster's Pizza
Reviews
Totally love it. Visiting from San Antonio. Brewster's Pizza came highly recommended from the folks at the Wimberly Zipline Adventures. I am not a pizza lover, they changed that! It's a very sweet (down to earth) environment and they make you feel like you are part of the little town.
As a serious home brewer I have an appreciation of the craft that Bruce puts into his beers. It was early June when I visited Brewster's and if I known they made pizza in wood fired brick ovens I would have came hungry. I was on a mission to try this brewery at the junction and taste the hype I have heard about it. The day we rolled up to Brewster's was hot and we were thirsty. Bruce was behind the bar and asked what do we normally drink. He recommended the Drop the Rabbit and it was malty, light acidic hoppy awesomeness in a glass. Next up was his Porter. Being a 16th generation Texan I shy away from heavier beers after being outside but this was not like any other porter I have ever had. This was full flavored and bold richness. It left my palette rather quickly and I craved another drink, then one more pint to make sure it was real. Yes it is very real. One way to tell the true skill of a brewery is to let the drink warm up and sip. Warm up some more and sip. When the beer from Brewster's reached room temperature the flavors were still scrupulous and on. Good luck with the big three on that one.
Craft beer and delicious pizza in one place? Hell yea! Plus it's in Wimberley which is such an awesome town to hang in. You gotta visit this place ASAP.
Awesome, family owned restaurant / brewery. great service & food. Love to see a few more beer options; there were only two available when I went. The porter was great
Bruce and his family have an AMAZING place! The pizza is hot and delicious, and his brewed beers are fantastic! Come in and let him "tell you what you need".
