LATITUDE 28°02' Restaurant and Art Gallery
Reviews
The atmosphere was very nice. I enjoyed walking around and looking at the art displayed. Some I liked more than others, however they had a very wide selection available. The wait staff was very helpful and punctual. The wine we drank was full and flavorful. The food did leave something to be desired, I had a salad with balsamic vinegar which tasted a little flat. My husband had the crab cakes, which tasted very fishy and flat. My son had angel hair pasta with broiled fish, which was very good. The fish was white and firm with a nice seasoning. Over all, I am very satisfied with our experience. We would go back for the nice atmosphere and super wait staff.
Lobster was delicious. Great service.
Great service/atmosphere... Good food, decent relaxed entertainment..
Only if you wish to be a snob for a night, view overpriced art, pay too much for your food, and wait for over an hour and a half to eat, should you stray in there. And you had better not come too hungry, as the portions are as "eclectic" as the menu. The place is very nicely painted and decorated with said art, which is important in preparing you for the long wait and inattentive wait staff. As for the food, I can only say that the appetizers were tasty, when they finally arrived 45 minutes after seating. We finally left after not being served our entrees after over an hour and a half. The manager chased after us to plead with us to come back for our meal stating that "this is not what we do here"... But they did that night!! It is apparent that the building they chose for this "restaurant" was not designed to be one, nor to serve as many as they seat. The kitchen, viewed through the often opening door, gave that away, as it was quite crowded and chaotic looking. Also I would guess that is not staffed with enough kitchen staff to prepare that much food. We will not go there again or recommend to anyone we are friendly with!!
Excellent food. The best.
