My boyfriend grew up in Rockport and when we recently visited for a friend's wedding, we stopped in at JJ's after a Google search of where to get a good, hot breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were not disappointed! He got the French Feast (French toast, eggs, bacon/sausage, and hashbrowns), and I got the Pancake meal (I don't remember exactly what they named it, but it had all the stuff his had plus toast, which I replaced with a biscuit). Everything was tasty and warm (the pancakes and French toast were delicious!). The waitresses were super friendly, helpful, and patient even with an almost-full restaurant. I was worried about the mixed reviews, but I caught them on a great day! Huge meals (I tried so hard but still couldn't finish everything) for a great price! We'll definitely be going again next time we're in town.
Great breakfast. Tried many different items and always good. Staff is friendly and attentive. Love that they honor all branches of the military by plaques on the wall. Makes this vet smile every time I go in. Go early or you may have to wait.
Breakfast and lunch diner food. Its good food and a really friendly family like atmosphere! If you want to be ignored, served and left alone , do not come here. They will joke and laugh with you; it is one of the best atmospheres i have ever been to! It is packed for a reason! About $8 a plate, and you will be full.
Ordered the special which was meatloaf. Delicious. Mac n cheese awesome. Great service. Looks like they have lots of regulars We will be back.
