didn't try the food, couldn't get my waitress to even come back to our table. After an hour waiting for a salad and sandwich we left, asked for a "manager" and got "Rosemary" telling us to complain to the lazy cook. I called the next day and asked for a manager, they said AliceFaye would be back in a week......Alice Faye, maybe you need to stay around and clean up the rif raf you have working for you.
We also found smell of cigarette smoke noticeable and undesirable. My husband liked the gumbo. My blackened chicken was good, but bun was way too big for amount of meat. We probably won't go there again.
They had decent food, although most of the fish was fried. Quick and easy stop for lunch, but nothing special.
Stay away from Faye...horrible food. Salad had aged freezer burn.. service with an attitude (bad)food was mediocre to bad. Way over priced. Bathrooms had mold on ceiling have pictures to prove. Never go to Fayes...
My profession requires me to work with and deal with restaurant and bar owners/staff. Some are very polite and helpful, return phone calls in an average amount of time, while other places are rude, inconsiderate, waste everyone's time and this would be one of these establishments. I have politely tried to contact this place for over 2 weeks, to be hung up on, ignored, treated rudely and have my time and efforts wasted. I am a supporter of local/small business but not if they in return do not support local/small business as well. This place gets a two-thumbs down for their etiquette, I have not even tried their food, nor will.
