I've visited this steak house twice and both times my steaks were absolute perfection. They only sell ribeyes and they sell them by the 1/4". The sides weren't very good unfortunately. The cornbread was dry and beans were bland. The salad was good though. It was a Tuesday night both times and they didn't have much in the way of customers. I was told by everyone though that had I been there on a Friday night or over the weekend, the place would be standing room only. The steaks though were absolutely perfect!
Great Rib-eyes here in a unique atmosphere. Make the short drive out of town and set foot on the ranch buildings that scatter the property. Their steaks are wonderful and their BBQ is excellent as well. It might not be the fanciest place in town, but that's part of the charm.
I just had a 1 inch thick steak cooked medium, And it was perfect. My wife said she loved how they brought everything you need to prepare your baked potato. The staff was great. We will be back.
For the price, the food was not good at all. A twenty dollar steak should have more seasonings than black pepper and salt. My steak had an immense amount of pepper. Texas Roadhouse makes steaks ten times better, at half the price of Cagles.
Loved the place in the past. Not so much anymore. Entertaining for out of town guests, but steaks at Tx Roadhouse are much better and a better value.
