El Chicos is AWESOME!!! Some of the best mexican food in the city, and i would know..im a mexican. The menue is great, the staff was super de duper, and the mexican apple pie is the best dessert this side of the Mississippi!!!
Their chicken enchiladas with sour cream are just the way I like them. Jalepeno/carrot/onion relish is delicious but no longer free.

Absolutely horrible experience! After being seated we waited almost ten minutes before finally the manager asked if we had been helped. He got us waters and then made our mixed drinks. He poured them at the table and my drink had 3 gnats in it so he took and made me another drink and there were still more gnats! The server must have been new. She had half of her head shaved and was generally annoyed she needed to serve us. She kept disappearing for long periods of time. I had to tip her before ordering another round of drinks to try to inspire her to come back. It didnt help. The food was wrong completely. The owner was there and when we showed him we had more gnats in our other drink he pulled it out of the glass and stated it looked like it was on the outside of the glass as if that made it alright. They completely acted like we were over reacting. We should have read the reviews first but I was at the hotel next door. The worst experience ever and way over priced!
