J&B Coffee Co.

My friend and I came in to get some coffee. It was a little before 10pm before we walked in. We had looked online to try something different from Starbucks and this was the only place open till 11pm. So we get there and the guy said "We served our last customer we can only do Italian Sodas and Chai Teas." I was not impressed by that. Some people want coffee late at night and talk but they looked all closed up before 10.The prices weren't even that great. The cups looked smaller than Starbucks. I was not impressed. Starbucks was better than this place. As much as I want to support local businesses its really hard when Starbucks is so much better. Starbucks you may pay more but you get friendly staff and larger portions. My friend and I will be going to Starbucks from now on.
Good coffee, fantastic atmosphere. Custom made tables and interesting lighting make the place a neat meeting location.
The coffee is great, atmosphere is relaxing and there staff are really nice. I spend so much of my time here socializing and studying.
Is it really that hard J&B? To be honest, the service is fine, the selection is mediocre at best, I've seen much better. There is nothing wrong w/ the coffee, though I don't brag about it to people that come in from out of town. My largest complaint is the lack of thought that went into the layout. 1st, there is only one toilet & you must often wait a long time to use it, 2nd, the bathroom has no fan so it usually smells like crap. 3rd, the sitting areas consist of two large high ceiling-ed open rooms stuffed w/ tables & chairs so thick that you can barely get around, the floor is concrete & the walls are hard or glass. The result is the creation of giant echo chambers that magnifie sound and it gets so loud you can't study or hear the person next to you. 4th there are a lot of windows, but people use their laptops in coffee shops and the glare isn't appreciated. Did the owners ever visit the northwest & see what good coffee shops are like, did they think about these things at all before setting up shop?
Easily my favorite coffee shop. Better than Starbucks on every level including great customer service and cool atmosphere.
