I've been coming to this store for 4 years now. It's always been a great place to go for all your pet needs. They carry so much stuff for such a small store. It's locally owned and they've even been willing to order odds and ends I was looking for for my pets. I've got a cat, a rat, 3 snakes as well as my roommates having birds and amphibious critters and we can get everything in one place! Plus the idea of supporting a local business is always great. All the bad reviews about smell and unprofessional behavior have been by angry people who can't tell a good shop when they see one. Come see it for yourself.
Very knowledgeable staff. I know they have years of experience caring for all kinds of pets and they're prices are very reasonable compared to the big chains. I know I can call or go in at any time if I have questions about my pets or want to learn about what I need to accommodate a new one to the highest standard.
Friendly, knowledgeable, very well with customer care and advice. Will continue to go there.
I have been going over there for over two years. I have a yorkie, cat and a reptile. They are very helpful and always ask if they can help. I went to Petco to buy a Basking lamp they wanted 19.95 which I later bought at Ark for 12.95. I love the place and looking at the cats when I am there always gives my daughter and I a lot of fun. Try it...Its been great. don't quite understand the negative comments here.
