I have been to the Warehouse many times and I must say I have enjoyed it every time I've went. It's a fun place to go if you want to get glammed up and not feel out of place (like you would at most bars in Abilene) It is very classy with cocktail tables and white leather couches. My favorite bar in Abilene, hands down.
This is by far the best venue in Abilene, TX. It's a nice clean place with an up-to-date look and feel. The patrons are generally well dressed and fairly classy. It's certainly not on par with an upscale nightclub in a larger city but its extremely good for Abilene. The biggest drawback to the Warehouse is that it's only open on Friday nights and closes at MIDNIGHT??? ridiculous if you ask me.
After bottles had been sitting on our table for over an hour, someone came to take them and I said I needed to keep track of my tab, but all of a sudden after an hour, the bottles were a hazard. I asked for a pen to write down exactly what I had and I was told to provide my own pen and he then tabbed me out and told me to pay cash the rest of the night if I waned to keep track of my tab. As if I would spend another dime there after that? Right. So after getting my itty bitty $18 dollar tab.... I was quick to put in a in $0 tip however my bank account shows they tipped themselves 20% on my card in which is will be kicked out by my bank. I was there for a freinds birthday and 2 states away from home, so I couldn't exactly leave.... I was leaned against the wall on a pillow doing things on my phone to keep me entertained in my stark boredom in this wanna be environment....and was told I had to sit straight up. Never will I be back, never will I recommend this place to my friends who travel here, and if you tell them you want to keep track of your tab.... be prepared to be cashed out, told to pay cash, and be sure to check your bank account the next morning.
A must for a Friday night out on the town. Great atmosphere with endless drinks to choose from.
