This is an excellent place for travelers to stop and rest. The food has always been good, hot and well-prepared. The staff has always been pleasant and service good, even when we stopped for just coffee or a mid-afternoon snack. We drive through Tye frequently and always plan a rest stop at Denny's. Today the weather was questionable for travel there and when we called to ask about the condition of the highway there, they were very willing & helpful to talk to us. Also, lt is kept clean, including the bathrooms.

Wouldn't even give it one star but it wouldn't let me leave my opinion. Absolutely unequivocally the worst service I've had in my whole life going to Denny's and I'm 50. I spoke to a waitress after 45 minutes waiting to get a glass of water even after I walked up to the manager, when I first came in and asked her if I could sit anywhere and she handed me a menu and then I waited 45 minutes and are you even lit up a cigarette smoke the whole thing and I wasn't even in the smoking area that's how much attention they paid, I still had to speak up to get a waitresses attention. I'll never go to another Denny's the rest of my life that's how bad it was and I'll tell my friends posted on Facebook.

This is the best experience I have had at this Denny's! Quick setting to table and drink brought in less than a minute. I ordered from the $2-$4-$6 menu. (You have to ask for it on the weekend.) The Cheese Quesadilla was perfectly toasted, the Red Velvet Pancake Puppies were divine, and ending with the Pumpkin Pie slice made for an awesome lunch! To top it was the server, Sarah D, getting everything on the table in perfect timing!

Bf brought me out to this one once when we were riding around on his bike. I was kinda scared at first because I heard the dennys in abilene is horrible, and because all the truckers, but the good and service were AMAZING. Only weird part was wer sat in a booth next to a trucker who I guess just needed someone to listen to him talk. I lol d but my bf got annoyed. The server was super friendly, we say in smoking section. Strawberry lemonade was epic..all in all I would recommend this place.

Food is good, the restaurant is clean, but make sure you check the ingredients in your food. 2 out of 3 meals, an ingredient in the title of the meal was missing. And one meal a minor ingredient was missing.
