After going to " bars " for a very long time in my life, I have found the most easy going and friendly atmosphere of any place to socialize and have a 'no crap on tap " beer. And when the food get here, look out Lexington.
Doesn't appear that they give much of a damn about their local homebrew customers. Poor variety of grain, yeast, and hardly any equipment to speak of. Refuses to sell 55 lb grain bags to customers because of vague concerns of "moonshiners" in the area. Finally, they were extremely reluctant to sell me two oz of fuggles, as this would wipe out their supply of it, making reference to a group that was going to be patronizing the store later that day. If home brewing is not their business, then their name really should change to match whatever it is they truly do.
Very laid back place that offers great beer and music. And the best bar staff anywhere.
Best prices in town and online. Great selection and truly knowledgeable staff. I used to buy online and now my go to shop for everything, ingredients and equipment. Highly recommended.
If you're a home brewer or like real beer then you need to go. I wish they had more merchandise though but great atmosphere.
