Late at night you are essentially banned from going from one part of the bar to another. I leave to use the bathroom and they wont let me back into the room I was in 5 minutes before. What is the point of this game? I don't know. But no patronage from me is the conclusion.

Raven lounge is my go to bar. I really enjoy their intimate and welcoming atmosphere. They're happy hour is excellent and their wide selection of cocktails always pleases me. I recommend you stop in next time you're in or around the Rittenhous Square area.
I always have a fun time here. Last time I went, I noticed something (that may have been) new. In the bathroom, there was a little revolving door that said "knock for PBR" so I knocked and there was a note and it said "place $4 here". But I didn't want to hold up the bathroom line (it's only one stall) so I just went to the bar instead. Still a cool idea!
If you are sick and tired of going to over crowded bars full of preppy, trendy snobs and listening to rap all night long, then visit the Raven Lounge. The staff is very friendly, the music is full of variety. They play something for everyone. The DJ's are happy to take requests. I like the feel of the place with the dark rooms and couches. It's very chill and relaxed. There is a house stripper pole on the second floor which is fun if you want to dance and let go a little. The bathrooms are a little gross, but I have not really found any bathroom up to my standards. I would highly reccomend this place if you are into experiencing something different. If you are into punk, rock, new wave and dance, then you will love this place. I am becoming a regular! Thanks Raven Lounge for being one of the best bars in Philly!
