Rented bar for private party with DJ. It was packed and all you can everything, but the staff was absolutely courteous and awesome the entire time. Food was exciting and never ending. Beer was all Goose Island, from Chicago, so of course that was fantastic. All around amazing night.
Happy hour is available throughout the restaurant, not just at the bar area. We had some fresh oysters, along with some cocktails and beer afterwards. Service prompt, attentive, didn't have to flag anyone down for whatever we needed. The eye-catcher is the decor, well preserved accents from what looks like a prior garage turned into a great neighborhood hangout. Soccer fans can enjoy a viewing area on couches and armchairs. Being there a few times already, we have tried plenty of the items on the menu and have yet to find something that we didn't like.
To Whom It May Concern: My fiance and I visited this resturant last night for the first time and I got the Double Cheeseburger and he got the Philly Cheese Steak, but meals tasted great until I noticed the middle of my cheeseburger was really pink and that the waitress never asked me how I wanted it done. We went home right after that and I vomitted and had diarehha from 10p-5:30am the next morning. We will not be returning back to this resturant and are very disappointed with this experience as so many of our friends had spoke so highly of your food and resturant. I wanted to let you know so that no one else gets sick.
I went to Alla Spina with a few friends for drinks tonight, and I have to say I was impressed. I had their homemade pretzels with asiago beer cheese and they were delicious and super cheap during happy hour. The soundtrack to the place was fantastic, as was the decor and ambiance. Lastly they had a GREAT selection of beers and everything was very reasonable and downright cheap during happy hour
Delicious, fun, excellent service, great drinks. I had the rib-eye carpaccio and chopped kale with shaved parmesan. Others in my family had pork pot pie, grilled cheese and fried chicken. Everyone was happy.
