Sinclair's Sunrise Cafe

Terrible service. No silverware was ever brought to table even after food was delivered, which took an EXTREMELY long time. Had to walk to counter. Never asked if we needed anything. Had to walk to counter for condiments. Never asked for refill on drinks till they dropped off the check. Had to walk to counter. So if you feel like skipping your morning work out go here. In reality you won't be. You get to be your own waiter! As far as the food goes. Nothing exceptional. High prices for mediocrity. I personally would go elsewhere and pay slightly more for food that is prepared in a much more exquisite manner, and includes silverware.
First time there, the service and atmosphere were great! If I lived nearby I'd go more often!
I really root for downtown Kennet Square to succeed, and when Sunrise first opened several years ago, it was a step in the right direction. The food centers mainly around breakfast and lunch, and is just enough out of the orinary to put them a couple of notches above mose diners or breakfast places. The big drawback, however (please take note, Lynn), is that the service is usually awful. The staff is slow, and tends to cluster around the counter. You may sit for a while without getting a menu, and on several occasions, i went and got my own. Coffee refills are also slow to be offered or not offered at all. With more attention to the service and an occasional change of menu (or addition of specials), i would add a star to my rating.
Delicious food. Wonderful people.
