I just got married at Deerfield in December, 2014. My experience working with Emily was amazing. She was so easy to get ahold of, and she took the time to explain all of our options. She really made us feel like we were top priority. On the day of, working with David and his staff was really special. David was there to make sure everything went perfectly, and he really kept it all flowing according to plan. I would highly recommend Deerfield for any event, but especially a wedding. The Christmas decor was perfect for what we wanted, and the food was out of this world! Job well done!

My husband and I recently got married and had our reception at Deerfield Golf and Tennis Club. We were thrilled how every aspect of our wedding day went! From planning with Emily starting in February to day of coordination with David, our day was even better than we could have imagined. They went out of their way to be accommodating to us and it showed in everyone's reactions to our wedding. Leading up to the wedding they were helpful in scheduling times for us to have our photographers in and to come look at the venue when planning floral arrangements. The food was fantastic. We got not a single complaint, which lets face it, food is the most important part of the experience! Many people have said "as far as wedding food goes this place had the best". I could not believe how smoothly everything went there. They handled everything. David and Anne gave extra attention to us, the bridal party and the parents' tables to make sure we had a chance to enjoy everything. Nothing at all was missed! If you are deciding on your event venue look no further!

My husband and I got married over the summer at Deerfield. It was the best and most memorable experience of my life. Guest and the wedding party are still talking about the delicious food, amazing atmosphere and how beautiful everything was. Angela and the staff did an AMAZING job with everything down to the smallest detail. The staff was highly attentive and constantly made sure things were running smoothly. I would highly recommend Deerfield to anyone looking for a place to have a wedding or any other type of celebration.

Our wedding day was absolutely the best day of my life and it couldn't have gone smoother without the expertise of the staff at Deerfield. Deerfield was the PERFECT place for our wedding reception & our guests still talk about how beautiful our wedding was. The ambiance for our evening wedding was absolutely magical. The grounds were perfect for pictures and the staff catered to us throughout the entire day & evening. The staff was so professional and helpful throughout the entire process & we did not want for anything. Emily was fantastic with her planning and always made herself readily available for any questions or concerns we had. From the planning, to the day of our wedding, Deerfield's staff made the entire process so memorable. David & the rest of the entire staff was excellent & executed the night precisely. They really went above and beyond to make me, my husband and our guests feel so welcomed and special. I really can not say enough about Deerfield. It is one of the best places to have your wedding reception in Delaware. From the breathtaking views the venue has to offer to the delicious food & drinks & the superb hospitality, you can not go wrong with choosing Deerfield. We highly recommend it! Absolutely awesome! Our daughter's graduation party went perfectly and Deerfield made it so. The locale, the service, the food and the staff were fantastic. Could not be happier with the results.
