I have been going to the app for 11 hrs regularly. The people are like best friends. The atmosphere is perfect and the food is awesome. Every one needs to come in and experience the warmth of the appian way.
I was nervous walking in, it was a bit smoky. But the bartender was nice. I was there for lunch and ordered a Rachel and wings...it took a little while for the bartender to go in the back and get it made, but when he brought it out, the sandwich was HUGE and delicious. The wings were also quite good. He mixed the Hot sauce and the honey parm sauce...it was great. He also knocked a few bucks off the bill...great place, will definitely return.
While my buddies and I were going to school at RMU we would alway go to the Apian Way on Thursday nights. $1.50 16 oz. bottles, and BOGO wings!
Great place! Cheap Drinks, Great food and quick. Good crowd of regulars, friendly environment. 3 plasmas to watch sports on. Smoker friendly. All in all a great way to have a good time, cheap! I go in a couple times a week and always run a tab and have never had any problems with someone "ripping me off" and know a lot of the regulars and have heard nothing about that, so I'm not sure who/what that other post is talking about. I highly recomend this place if you find yourself in the area!
