Blackfish Cafe
Reviews
The service was accommodating, extremely friendly, and non invasive. My wife and i are disappointed we didn't discover this place sooner. Thanks again!! The food was immaculate!!!
We had intended to eat in Newport, but didn't make it out of Lincoln City. We looked at a couple of other places before deciding to try Blackfish Cafe. The food was okay, but no better. The service was decent. There was nothing bad about our experience, but on the other hand there was nothing great. The fritto misto was heavy on calamari and light on oysters and shrimp. The clam chowder was better than Mo's, though that's not difficult, but again it just wasn't that good. There are other, better places to eat in the area.
Had fish and chips my fish was over cooked and tasted burnt. The chowder was more like potato soup. Really disappointed after all the other good reviews. Too expensive to wast money like that.
Had the most incredible grilled breast of duck and risotto there last night. The decor and ambiance is not spectacular and the tight confines are less than desirable. But...the food was outstanding. I had the grilled breast of duck with wild blackberry tawny port conserve and Tillamook white cheddar, walnut and sage risotto. Easily the best food in Lincoln City.
A great little seafood restaurant. Friendly, prompt service with a good selection of fish and seafood. We only tried the fish and chips, but the fish was fresh and well seasoned.
