This cafe/coffee house/beer station is the epitome of Yellowsprings. We ordered our food at the front counter, had a problem waiting for a table (everyone on their computers and not eating or drinking, but occupying seating space). There might have been only one cook as we waited close to 20 minutes for our food. It's okay, we weren't in any hurry, however the food was mediocre at best. This is the place to come for conversation and coffee, but not food and service. However, I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
I love to meet a friend here for a good conversation and a nice cup of tea or coffee. The food is good and the internet is free. People are friendly - a small town business in the old school tradition.
I love this place! Everytime I'm in yellow springs I must stop in for a cup of chai. Definitely the best deal around, I always take advantage of using the soy milk in the mini fridge. Great place to hang out (especially in the cold winter months), play cards or board games (they have plenty on the shelf), or read...all while sipping on some great tea or coffee and hanging out in the relaxing atmosphere. Also, don't forget to check out the wine and liquor selection!
Great coffee. Great place for a family breakfast.
