I visited Climbing Bines during a couples trip to the Finger Lakes , and it was one of the best parts of the trip! My girlfriends and I aren't huge beer drinkers, so we tasted four beers while the guys tasted all of them, and everyone was so impressed! Greg explained all the beers to us, and told us about the brewery itself, and he was absolutely wonderful. He made us feel so welcome. My favorite beer was definitely the Spicer--I don't even like beer and I thought it was amazing! We took home a growler that's already gone. You also get to keep your tasting glasses, and your drinking glass if you order a full beer, which makes an awesome souvenir. If you're in the Finger Lakes area, this is definitely a must-visit brewery!
Wow ! Exceptionally crafted beer, fun & lively atmosphere, and very knowledgeable & passionate owners. This is a must see ! Their Imperial IPA is off the charts good - very enjoyable beer for anyone who is looking for an IPA with less bite. Highly recommend Climbing Bines Hop Farm & Brewery.
A great little place to stop for good beer and good conversation. All the beer is on tap and available for drinking on site while you sit and enjoy a view of Seneca Lake. You can also buy 32 and 64 oz growlers for taking their beers home with you. Climbing Bines has a really nice hefeweizen and a good selection of ale's for tasting on site. You should stop and try a few.
