The four forks turkey sandwich is amazing! The special mayonnaise they put on it is awesome! The bread is really great, too and totally made from scratch! I really, really recommend this place.
Then Great Harvest Bread Co. is your place. What makes Great Harvest so frustrating is it's potential! Delicious food, a unique, comfortable atmosphere; locally owned, healthy food. Can't beat that right? However... after years of working nearby, and going there regularly I would not advise going there. The positive aspects drew me back many times, but the disappointments greeted me each and every time. Rarely is it possible to go in, order what you want, get what you ordered, and leave satisfied. I can't count how many times I've gone in and ordered a turkey sandwich only to be told they are out of turkey. Turkey! It's common to hear "Oh, sorry we're out of that", and several times that news came ten minutes after I placed my order. Try it if you want, but prepare yourself to go in, and make your choice, get your hopes up, and then have them dashed by the management, and owners apathy towards running their business. Great concept, terrible execution.
Great ambience and atmosphere... like a page out of "Friends"...between the tables and couches, large selection of coffees, lattes and teas you can't help being comfortable. The aroma of fresh delicious breads, muffins and cookies just permeate the air... and the tastes... Craig gives generous free tasting samples of their bread!... Their menu is broad enough to offer choices and select enough to not overwhelm... The seating area is large enough to feel uncrowded yet small enough to maintain the intimacy you want for that special meeting or leisurely lunch... If there were 6 stars Great Harvest Bread Company would easily earn them!
