Everything was great, started with a free beer sample and delicious homemade bread. Food was wonderful, mashed potatoes flavored perfectly, great salad and scallops. Service (Tharis) was top notch.
Came to OBX for our anniversary and supported Bernie's. Fantastic food, good service and atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. Great crab dip! Try the Pollo Loco too.
I can't say enough about this place! I visited OBX for my one year anniversary and decided to visit as many local shops and restaurants as I could. Barefood Bernies was one of those places. We were immediately seated when we walked in and warmly welcomed by our waitress, Joy. She was patient while my husband and I decided on food and drinks and told us about her time in Cary, NC (we're from Raleigh, NC). She was genuine and made me laugh. On top of that, the food was out of this world!! My husband had some kind of chicken taco and I had the Pollo Loco - which I couldn't get enough of!! I normally don't finish all of my meal (I am petite and am normally served large portions) but this was just enough to fill me up without leftovers. Every piece of my meal had its own taste and only enhanced the tastes of the other food. Hands down, probably my top favorite place to eat in the area!
Awesome.... Had a party of 6 and 2 children. Told the wait was 30 mins and at 30 mins we were called to be seated. It was busy but we were treated as if we were the only ones there. I had 2 drinks that were amazing. I had the Brazilian Steak Carnival that was to die for. Couldn't have found a better place for the price. Like I said.... Amazing!
Great food great staff. Busy all year.
