One of five locations of a local owned and operated Coffee shop. Each Market Street Coffee shop has a unique feature, offerings and design. I got a good cup of coffee and a egg salad sandwich. Also I saw they seek out local owned rosters including Red rooster from Wake Forest and Oak City from Raleigh NC. Look forward to coming back.
This is the place that took over for the old Red Bicycle cafe. Overall, it's a pleasant experience inside. They have some very good coffees and mix them up day to day. The lattes and other coffee drinks are great, and you have the usual selection. I also enjoy going there for the occasional bite to eat, and it's usually very good. They get some locally made products to keep things fresh, and make some very simple sandwiches. The problem is, they make slightly different sandwiches every time. Depending on the day and worker, you might get different bread, different toppings, different cheese. It's usually still tasty, but it's hard to order when you don't know what you're going to get. Still, it's a pretty easy fix, as I've just started stating exactly what I want whenever I order it. I forgot to talk about the ice cream. They get it locally I think, but it's not Maple View. It's delicious, though. They have apple pie ice cream that is one of the best ice creams I've ever had. All of them are very creamy, smooth, and great, though. Overall it's a nice coffee shop that I enjoy frequenting.
