This is a great bar. If your looking for live original music and some pool this is the spot. Great selection of local brewed beers. Root ball is a must no matter what the weathers is like. The bar is heated by a wooden stove so you'll never be cold. The people that go there are friendly and welcoming. The bar tenders are awesome as well. If you go to Asheville and don't visit the root bar you have wasted a trip to this great city. The root bar is a must and world famous.
Hell, I went there and it made me smile the whole damn time. Staff is friendly, atmosphere perfect. Don't miss this spot when you visit Asheville!
While visiting from NYC on a search for a burger and beer, I was led to this bar. I didn't get the burger, but the staff and the beer were well worth the stop.
Great bar and Great atmosphere. You have to try Root Ball at least once!
