Remember that guy you kinda knew in high school, but didn't really know? ...you never really followed up to see what he ended up doing, and kinda didn't care? Well he ended up turning his auto shop into a bar where he and his friends could hang out and drink. ...and then he decided that PBR wouldn't be hard to replicate, and started brewing beer. Altamont Brewing is his bar. The atmosphere would be cool, if you were in high school again, and the beer would be good if you ran out of PBR, but if not, it's really still not ready for prime time.
Having been invited, Asheville Hendersonville Local Movers enjoyed Open Mic Nite at Pet Friendly Altamont Brewing Company on Haywood Rd. in West Asheville. Altamont Brewing Co. offers many locally brewed beers from our area, as well as Live Music, Table Tennis, a Foosball Table, Cornhole and more.. all in a friendly comfortable atmosphere! Tuesday night on Open Mic Nite, Local musicians can sign up for a spot to entertain the crowds! We had the pleasure of meeting Logan Mason of Elk Tracks, Ben Wiggins aka Scooter Haywood, all in this posted video, and playing keyboard & guitar later, was Jeff Crave! Most enjoyable, were all the dogs that were in and out, running around playing amongst themselves, as if it were a playground for pups! I loved it! They would run past you, as if you weren't there.. then seconds later come by and demand a little attention, then off to meet others! If you find yourself in West Asheville looking for a cool place to hang out, enjoy some local brew, listen to some Live Music (depending on day of week), and meet some interesting local folks.. stop by Altamont Brewing Co. and let them know the "Local Moving Guys" sent ya!
