Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano
Reviews
My experience wasn't great. Our server seemed VERY new, and the manager wasn't much better: I wasn't informed that they were out of tuna until everyone else's food was almost ready. When asked if my new order (tilapia) would come out at the same time, we were told "Obviously not, I haven't put it in yet." I waited an additional 15 minutes for my food, and when it came it was under cooked (it is somewhat difficult to under cook Tilapia). I sent it back and they made an additional order for me, to go. I ended up eating a caesar side salad and bread service for dinner. Ultimately I received my meal for free, which is fine, what bugged me was when the manager informed me that "This should make you happy." Biaggi's is a chain, Italian restaurant. And you get exactly what you would expect from that experience. Flavors are very rich, too rich at times (caesar salad, breaded tilapia). Flavors are somewhat confused (see bread service including olive oil & kraft parmesan cheese product for dipping). I won't be back, my poor experience aside, Olive Garden food is better.
We spent a day at the Jackson Zoo and wanted to get something to eat. One local said she didn't like this place but we decided to try it anyway.. And we are so glad we did!! Food was great! Our server, I believe his name was Lyman, was great. Would recommend, and would definitely come back!
Great food, great atmosphere. Great service. Wish there was one in my hometown!
Not too bad for an Italian restaurant. There are certainly worse options. The food is tasty and the portions are about right. Sunday lunch and weekend supper will probably have a long wait, but the atmosphere is nice enough that you can overlook it.
My boyfriend and I decided to try Biaggis for the first time, it was our anniversary. .. This will be the first AND last time I eat there. Don't get me wrong, the waitresses were really great. Great service. Didn't had to wait long. BUT the food is not the worth the price you pay for. The bread was stale. The salad was awful; too much vinaigrette. I ordered the Potato- Parmesan crusted Tilapia, and I didn't even finish half of it. It smelled like bloody meat. My boyfriend ordered Farfalle Alfredo and he said some of the pasta wasn't fully cooked. I'm all for trying new things, But if I would've known this was going to be the result, I would've gone to Olive Garden instead.
