I didn't think it was possible, but the one in Hattiesburg is as bad as the one here at dogwood. The food quality is terrible. My hamburger tasted like sawdust. Very disappointing. I think its safe to scratch this entire chain off the list.
Our family came here for my birthday dinner and I was disappointed that my father spent what he spent on a meal that was barely mediocre. First of all, the place is SO loud I'm surprised the waiters could even hear our order. I'm all for ambiance, but the music was blasting! The sirloin was OK and my dad received mac n cheese instead of mashed potatoes like he ordered, the fried cheese burger was greasy and although it was described as the best burger they had, it was nothing special. I ordered the $17 Prime Rib with broccoli, and while my steak was fairly tasty, it was smothered in their "au jus" which was actually a very thick salty sauce that had no place on that plate, and I could barely enjoy my steak. And I was given one, albeit large, piece of broccoli. Our server Amir was very attentive (aside from what I was assuming was a short 15 minute break when we were waiting for the check) but we could also tell he was frustrated with the kitchen and the cooks messing up our orders. I'm sure I could get a much better steak and atmosphere for the price elsewhere, so I won't be coming back here.
Been going to Dogwood location since it opened. The food quality and service has gone down the toilet over the last year. Our last several visits have gotten exponentially worse each time. We will not be going back. EVER.
