Love this place! Lots of fantastic local music, great bee, delicious food (crabcakes and fries especially), fun, friendly people, and lively conversations. NO smoking inside. Smokers go outside, so I think the negative posts about the smell/smoke are old...Give it a chance! It's unique and welcoming.
Stopped by there just for a pint or two. At first the bartender wasn't sure how to make a black and tan, then brought me a blended mix of Guinness and Andygator. Ok it wasn't a black and tan but it didn't have a bad taste, it took me forever to get another Guinness though and I was one of only two customers in the place. They have a buy a mug system where you buy the mug for $40 without a team on it or $50 with a football team on it. Most folks get one with their favorite team. It would be very out of place in a Irish pub. To be honest this place is not a Irish pub, it is a local sports bar that tries at times to have a little Irish flavor mixed in. If your a smoker, it is one of the few places you can still enjoy a beer and a cig at the same time. If your looking for a real Irish Pub experience, you will probably be dissapointed.
I discovered this place by chance back in March of 2013 and I have come back every chance I get!!! I love the people, the food is AWESOME, and you are always welcomed with a smile....I recommend this place to anyone...smoking is allowed here inside, I don't smoke but I still love this place...I even had another customer ask if he needed to put his out if it was bothering me....too nice!!! YOU SHOULD CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!
Probably the worst experience I've had in a while. Terrible food, terrible service, terrible drinks. How does a bar manage to have Guinness that tastes bad? I won't be back.
Possibly the best Philly cheese steak I've ever had in MS
