I use to go there when you could smoke cigars at the bar. I liked the food and I gave a private dinner for 8 in the (back room). Its an old world Italian joint, not the Ritz. But I stopped going there after a bad experience. I almost drug one of the bartenders over the bar one night for making a pass at my wife when he thought I wasn't looking. She persuaded me not wait for him in the parking lot. I still regret it.
Overpriced food, very rude, loud owner, we walked out. Outdated decor and too dark. If you want a bad time, near projects with a liquor store around the corner, good luck. Oh, bartender was awesome.
Love the spinach dip, great entrees and very good Lemon Drop Martinis!
Owner is rude. He came up to us, telling us we couldn't be talking about a petition we are against and he was for. He was loud he could be heard throughout the dining room. We weren't bothering anyone, the place was empty. The food and drinks are way overpriced. Diners beware.
Skip it! If Gary Collins walked out and didn't pay his bill, that should tell you something. Next door to the projects and alot of "men" lingering around. 4.00 beer - thats ridiculous for a hick owned establishment who lists tomato sauce as "red sauce" on the menu. That says it all!. Won't be back and niether should you. Train is noisy as hell too.
