Love, Love, LOVE LaMar's. Not only because they are - hands down - the most delicious donuts in the area, but they are also an amazing organization. They offer to help out our non profit organization anytime we ask and always with a smile. It's a pleasure to purchase the yummiest donuts from LaMar's!
LaMars is undoubtedly the best doughnut chain in the Kansas City area, however this store is the red headed step child. If you have any choice at all, do NOT go to this one, and instead visit the LaMars in Blue Springs which isn't too far away. This LaMars has awful coffee and no variety (even though the sign on the wall advertises great coffee selection), the donuts are inconsistent and more expensive (you'd think that a chain would have the same prices on donuts chain-wide), and they run out of donuts early in the day (ran out of regular glaze at 10am on a Sunday). Don't give up on LaMars in general. Just do your best to avoid this one.

why in the world does a Donut shop run out of donuts before 7am? once again, this morning, i was just looking for some maple bars. maple bars!!!! not really an odd or unusual choice i believe. but they are out. i'm not even exaggerating; this is the fourth time in the last 6 months this shop said they've sold out of regular popular donuts available before 7am. the very nice clerk smiles and says "we didn't make enough today" !!! really?? what the blazes does a donut shop do? maple bars, choc iced, iced with spinkles.. all have been unavailable on more than one occasion. idiotic. sure wish somebody would open and manage a shop that actually has the product in stock.
Best donut shop I have ever been too!!! I recommend this donut shop to anyone that likes their donuts glazed real well. Plus the service here is outstanding!!!
