Really good Ice Cream! New Flavors every time I walk in! Though some of my faves have gone, they are replaced with good ones.
I've been enjoying Poppy's for years--even back when they were Doc's in Raytown! They have the BEST homemade ice cream, and the prices are very reasonable. My husband and I are frequent supporters of this local business!
Not disappointed at all. All the flavors I've tasted have been rich and flavorful.
I've gotten coffee here a couple of times, and both times I was very pleased--with the prices, quality, and service. The employees are very friendly and really make you feel glad to frequent their business! Support your local businesses--it's delicious!
Stopped at Poppy's after a dinner in downtown LS. Had never been to this place before so didn't know what to expect. However we were pleasantly surprised by the shear amount of combination of ice cream, sundaes, malts, concretes, and other specialty items. They had many different flavors available to sample or try. The best part is the price! I wasn't expecting ice cream to be so reasonable. Normally gourmet ice cream shops charge an arm and a leg. Not at this place as they easily lower priced and serve a much better selection than Custards, or Sheridans. I really really recommend you visit this establishment.
