Last night we went in for Chef's table dinner. We were treated to a first class experience by all the staff. Chef Alex prepared a custom made 6 course menu just for us. When you make the reservation they ask about any food allergies so they can avoid cooking something you can't eat. The food was absolutely amazing, one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The chef would explain how he is making each dish and all the ingredients that go into it. It was creative, contemporary, flavorful and colorful feast. We were waited on by a very nice young man, Garrett who also served as the wine matchmaker. He put a great effort in to making sure we have what we need, and explaining the rationale behind each wine pairing. Overall we were very pleased with the experience and would totally recommend it.

We love impressive little restaurants and this is one of them. Had some great appetizers and French onion soup for our 17th wedding anniversary to start our meal. Maybe our tastes aren't refined enough to enjoy gourmet food, but we are not impressed with what we ordered. My wife ordered steak medallions that seemed to be overcooked and she referred to them as "shoe leather". I had the rainbow trout with stuffed crab. Sounded great off the menu, but my taste buds couldn't manage to accept the fresh water delicacy with sea food. The rainbow trout met ALL expectations, but the addition of the stuffed crab needed to be at a different time and a different place, if you get my drift. The presentation was a bit too fancy for us, we prefer good rib-eyes or New Yorks and a baked potato. You won't get that here, but it's worth giving it whirl if you are in the area and enjoy gourmet prepared dishes.

Amazing! The food was wonderful

Amazing food I had the walleye with wild rice topped with a cucumber dill sauce the cottages are also very nice and well kept

Had a wonderful dinner there on my birthday February 2014. My boyfriend and I ate at the chef's table and watched them cook not only our food from the spot but everyone else's with the some of the freshest ingredients I have seen a restaurant use. They made things that I don't care for, such as the scallops, decadent and purely delicious. The staff was a joy to speak with and I just can not wait to eat here again. I don't know if I will ever find food that tastes anywhere near as good as their food did. In a beautiful location and a beautiful building, this place is a bit spendy, but totally worth it place to eat.
