Great service- a LITTLE slow, but very kind. Answered all our questions about the plethora of drink options (try the Moscow Mule). Excellent fresh food. Cornbread side was FANTASTIC. Nice atmosphere (in the bar seating area).
The food was very delicious and fairly priced, I loved the Salmon Burger. The only negative thing I'd say is it took awhile for the food but they made it fresh and not much attention from the servers. Highly recommend if you have time.
Most are driven to write a review if something went wrong with their meal. I am doing the exact opposite. Our family of four was looking for a casual dinner out, I was not thrilled with the reviews but decided to try the Black Woods Bar & Grill. The meal was great, the service was excellent, and the visit delightful. I had a Broiled Walleye (awesome with baked sweet potato), my wife the chicken salad (huge), my son the steak (perfect with a baked potato the size of Mt. Rushmore) and my daughter the burger (colossal). We were served quickly by a wonderful staff, and had three different people check on us. Not sure what other bad reviews were about but I am very glad we went and would recommend it to all.
Our food and service were wonderful. My wife had the ribs with mashed potatoes ( red with the skin on), and I had the Walleye. Spot on, we will 100% return.
The food was ok. The server was very unprofessional. She kept skipping us and ignoring us. It took 15mins to get a beer. I ordered walleye at the same time as my food and received it first. They left the vacuum in the dining room.
