Love the crew at Dunn Brothers, they are always so helpful. Dunn Brothers carries a variety of seasonal coffees and they do their own roasting. I rely on the helpful staff to steer me toward new and delicious coffee as they come in season. Their selection of bakery items are not to be missed. If you get a chance, try their "Bagel Bomb" (looks like a round bagel ball and is filled with fruit and cream cheese) you won't be disappointed. Also to cool you down, they have delicious smoothies and try their cold pressed coffee. I purchase their "Growler" refillable jug and keep it in the office.

Good breakfast sandwiches but hard to find space during lunch.

I've been going here 1-2 a week for about 2 years now. Unlike other reviewers, I've found the owner to be pleasant and approachable. She recognizes me and ask me how I'm doing. I've never received rude service from anyone here and I am usually using a credit card so there is no tipping involved. The couches and fireplace are probably the best of all the coffee shops in Rochester if you are looking to lounge and read a book. The drawback of this place is that it is often crowded and the booths (which are wonderful and outlet equipped) are reserved for parties of two or more. That leaves either the open area up front with no outlets or the cramped dungeon at the back of the store with electricity available. It is so cramped back there that it feels socially awkward, like standing in an elevator. Because of the seating situation there have been times I've simply had to go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, I really like the coffee here. The problem is the owners. I watched a girl with a hearing aid get fired because she couldn't work the drive through. Another girl who used to work there and was fired towards the end of her pregnancy. The owner lady gets frustrated with the computers and sometimes yells at her employees for no particular reason. The food is good and made in house, the coffee is good and fresh roasted, but the way the employees are treated is illegal and not good. I'm not able to support that.

The fresh roasted beans speak for themselves. Everything I've had here was good, both coffee and food items. I don't drink sugary coffee drinks. I am a cowboy. I like it black, so I can taste the beans. One exception is a cafe latte. Dunn Bros' cafe latte is on par with a cafe latte from the establishment in minneapolis by the same name, cafe latte. They are excellent. The french press is a great deal too, about a dollar less than other coffee places in town. The service has been pleasant and the free wifi is a plus.
