You can't really beat A Better Place for a casual drink at the end of a long work day. The pool tables are only 50 cents a game and they have many choices of tap beer. You'll find me and my friends here almost every Friday night and its not odd for us to play pool for up to six hours. The service is friendly but careful, they don't put up with fighting or low lifes (not to mention minors) in this bar and, personally, I find that very refreshing. They encourage a good crowd and good, fun people. The place is always clean and its big enough that even when its packed you can always find a pool table or just a table to sit at. The local pool league plays here often because their pool tables are considered some of the best around (and they have 5 with a 6 being installed!). Not to mention, as of right now, their online Juke Box is free!
