3 Squares Restaurant
Reviews
I love 3 Squares. Great menu, versatile specials that come out frequently, good beer selection and great service. I had one bad experience once (out of many, many visits), and the manager came and apologized personally and comped my meal. I've been consistently impressed.
Being from out of town, its hard to find a comfortable place. This is it, the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The food is creative and tasty, im a chef by trade. Happy hour is a great deal. If you drink coors light and miller lite, then go to Applebee's . They have a stellar beer selection and even some from Freehouse ( same owners). I was here on monday two weeks in a row, and can see a few more in my future.
Great food, better tap selection. Best craft beer selection in the northwest burbs.
I'd like to tell you about their food but we never got that far. This past Friday we arrived around 6:50 and checked in planning to eat and the catch an 8:20 movie. We were told there was a 25 minute wait which seemed ok. Then we sat and waited, and waited, and waited. A busy stream of people came in the door after us and the restaurant managed to seat almost all of them without ever getting to us. I guess they were waiting for a table just for two to open up but when 35 minutes went by and the staff was still assuring us that'll be just a few more minutes we got fed up and left. There was no way we were going to be able to be seated, eat, and still catch our movie after being brushed aside for that long. I know the groups that came in after us were larger, but some of them came in a good ten minutes after we were there already waiting and they were still seated before us. The staff needs to get their act together.
The extensive beer menu always got me past the unimaginative food, but now that they've cut the beer menu in half and added their own uninspired Free House brew I can't imagine I'll be back. Pairing subpar food with subpar beer is sure to be a winner.
