Meijer

Love the store. Love the workers. Amazing service.
I have to say, the shelves have been empty for ne multiple times and the bakery may be a HUGE let down as their baked goods are often dry or not fully cooked. The orher massive issue I have is with bottle returns. Every time I go there is a huge line because half the machines are always broken and the bottle area itself is terribly small.
Low prices, fresh food, large selection. Employees can be rude at times.
I have gone here quite a bit and have had a good experience for the most part, I have had problems though. Their merchandise is not always marked clearly and I have made expensive arrangements to buy an expensive item, only to find that the label I was looking at was for a different item. I have also called to return an item and they threw me off to an automated message stating their return policy, the call ended afterward. Customer service could definitely use some improvement.
We moved from NE side of GR last summer and been using this location ever since. I wanted it to give substantial time before I form an opinion. Despite the overall layout of the store to which I took us a while to get used too I find this store to be OK with one huge exception. STOCK. It's terrible. I don't remember a single time where I could find Meijer brand of PB jar. These shelves are always empty! The quality of bakery is also differs significantly. Buying the same fresh baked goods taste soooo much worse than from Meijer on Plainfield. Deli is missing low sodium ham and turkey meats, poor variety of cheese, and the worst possible tasting Amish Potato salad. Rarely get any clothing but look around for good deals occasionally. Poor assortment on baby items compared to other locations. I have not used customer service much but always seem to have a friendly face. Bottom line, management needs to get up to speed with timely stocking. If I happen to be on the other side of town, I'd rather use another location.
