Met with old friends and was pleasantly pleased with all four meals. Everything from mushroom & swiss burger to cod dinner, smothered steak and lobster mac & cheese. After reading some reviews, I was a little skeptical about the service and food - glad we ignored them and tried ourselves! Great food, great staff and nice clean establishment!
BEST FRENCH ONION SOUP I HAVE EVER HAD. THEY PUT A PIECE OF BREAD IN IT "USUALLY" BUT I ASKED FOR CROUTONS AND THEY HAD NO PROBLEM CHANGING THEIR ROUTINE FOR ME.. I LOVED IT.. I EAT THAT EVERYWHERE I GO THAT HAS IT AND THEY HAVE JUST NOW TOPPED THE LIST!!
Their pizza is fantastic.
The Baked Lobster Macaroni & Cheese Dinner is awesome! Highly recommend it.
Wanted to like Cleary's Pub. Left disappointed instead. We're fairly new to Howell/Brighton and enjoy the quaint feeling of Howell's downtown. Stopped in to Cleary's for the first time on a sloppy winter's day hoping for a great meal. Instead all our meals were tasteless and really nothing special. The lettuce was so wet on the Cherry Chicken Salad that it really had no taste. Our child's mac and cheese was clearly out of a box and nothing special. "The Griz" wrap had no flavor. The beef was bland. The sauce on it was suppose to have horseradish but there was no kick to it at all.
