Waited a long time for a drink.. the food his high priced, especially where this place is located... not a real friendly staff... food was good... not great but good and again high priced... ambience was wonderful however. Lower the prices (Big Rapids isn't full of rich people...) and make improvements on staff, improvements on food (quantity as well) and you would have an OUTSTANDING place to go.
Well not real impressed. Ordered a José Margarita and waiter admitted he never made One. Wheres the bartender? It was strong though. The service was super slow. Maybe cause the waiter was still drunk. LOL. #Smelled like booze. Out of 8 tables 6 were still dirty from previous patrons. The food was awesome however.
Worthwhile destination dining in mid Michigan. White tablecloth with a casual atmosphere, excellent cuisine with attentive service. Highly recommended for a nice evening out.
I took my wife, our two teen aged boys and my sister out for lunch on Saturday. The food was unbelievably good. We had three different kinds of steak (Ribeye, Kobe & blue-cheese stuffed fillet mignon) and each one was incredible. I can't recall ever eating better food or having a better dining experience. Everything was perfectly prepared, from the appetizer round (roasted tomato bruschetta & the cheese plate - love that goat cheese!) , through dinner and even dessert. We will certainly be making the tip up to Big Rapids again! We've found a new favorite fine dining restaurant.
I'm hear now and have waited for 10 min for a beer. WOW! Quit pricey for big rapids
