Wow, I can hardly believe that there isn't one kind of food on the menu that a person could finish eating. The Gate changed management a few months ago, and what was once a nice, fun, eatery, has become the four inch rock in my stomach, laying heavily inside me as I type this review. Just after the Gate had changed hands, my wife and I went in for a couple of burgers and beers. Well the chef must have been having a bad day. It was dry and totally tasteless (NO FLAVOR). Thank goodness the Buds were cold! A few weeks later (forgetting of the last experience) We went in for steaks. It had more gristle than meat and no seasoning or any other flavor. A couple months later we tried pizzas. Ouch. was that bad. Today we decided that we would try one last time to eat at the 7-10 Bar and Grill. We had a $25.00 off coupon if we spent $ 37.00. so we gave it our best shot. We sat at a booth for several minutes without service, so I went to the bar and asked for a couple of menus and was asked "where are you sitting?" They didn't know that we had come in. One diet Pepsi, one regular Pepsi, one patty melt with fries ($1.00 extra), one mushroom swiss burger with chips (no extra charge), one order of poppers, one chicken quesadilla. After the waitress brought the f/ brought our selections, I took my first bite and realized that there wasn't any salt or pepper to be found, Back to the bar and wait to be acknowledged. Got the condiments and back to the booth. It took a layer of salt to bring out any flavor stronger than the bread. The quesadilla was in fact tasteless as well. I know that if I haven't eaten for four days, I would have eaten it flavor or no flavor. The point being, I would rather eat a frozen pizza than eat at the 7-10 Bar and Grill. I will not be back!

The food is pretty good especially the pizza. The problem is the bait and switch they love to pull. I had a coupon for free cover (it doesn't say it cant be used certain days) and they tell me that they won't take it that day. Another time i had some coupons for free bowling. The coupon doesn't say only one can be used at a time but they would only allow me to use 1 of my 2. Long story short they never honor their coupons.

i played in the arcade, it was fun. ive drank there no complaints, i have bowled there no complaints. i have never ate the food there so i am unsure about that area.

The food is really good

My husband and I have gone to the gate several times on weekend nights to meet friends and each time was a horrible experience! Bad service and rude, unprofessional staff, including the management! This bar is the largest in BR and it is obvious that this establishment feels that they do not need to give their customers a good experience in order to make money. I would highly reccomend choosing one of the smaller bars in town and steering away from this "family fun" establishment unless you are visiting during the day for family fun.
