This is a great place to go....if you want some miles out of your tetanus vaccinations and wish to see what bars were like in colonial times. I don't even think the owner has replaced a light bulb since he took it over or even washed a toilet. They really know how to make a game of pool interesting as all of the cue sticks and pool balls seem to have been chewed on by some sort of rabid beast, or maybe just the hungry patrons who don't want dysentery from the food. I know I'd rather chew on an ancient Egyptian pool ball than touch anything that came out of that nasty kitchen. There are plenty of better places in the immediate vicinity that would be happy to have you spend your money, and actually have other people above legal drinking age hanging out. Don't waste your money here, spend it where it is welcome and disease free.
I stopped here with my husband and kids on the way to Annapolis. The place is very non-descript and easy to miss, but WOW, is the food awesome! My husband had the Jumbo Crab Pretzel and couldn't stop raving about it; I had the Mild Wings which were huge and delicious, best I've had in a long time; and my kids split an order of the Mini Shooter Burgers. The wait staff is friendly and the prices are more than reasonable. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by, and if you're not, it's definitely worth driving out of the way for (we did in our way back).
Went on a Saturday along with a lot of Penn State fans to catch the game. The prices were reasonable, the drink selection larger than most places, and the food better than one would expect. It's obviously your average bar environment so if you're looking for a highbrow watering hole keep looking.

Shooters is great. It's a bar. Granted, I could do with a few less Stealers fans, but other than that, there's little to complain about. I wouldn't necessarily go there for a family dinner. It's not that type of place. It's a bar with good beer, good food and friendly bartenders. It's a bar and a good one, at that.
