This is my 5th time here and while the food and drink is amazing the service is ALWAYS terribly slow no matter how busy the restaurant actually is. The service around shift changes is especially bad and sitting at the bar for service is the slowest restaurant experience I've ever had in life.
I have been to one other location and both times, the food and service have been wonderful. Their menu has a wide range of Americana style food to suit a variety of tastes. My first visit to this location was for my father's birthday. The only issue my family had was a forgotten dish for one member of our family. The management staff went way above and beyond to make it up to us: They gave us the forgotten entree for free AND threw in a free desert and a $35 discount to make it up to us. We did not even make a big deal about the entree being forgotten; they just felt so bad that we were kept waiting. I could not ask for better service at a restaurant. We will definitely be returning to this location in the future!
Absolutely amazing food!!!! We come here often for the crab cakes, drink specials and delicious appetizers, all reasonably priced. Service is always spot on and decor is cozy and modern.
I must say that I have never tried the food at Houlihan's, but after the experience I had with a manager over the phone I never will. I called to inquire about their much advertised "group space". I called at 4 pm on a Saturday. The host who answered the phone was very knowledgeable (the only reason I gave 2 stars), and friendly... Then he transferred me to a manager. The female manager answered with an extreme attitude. I immediately felt like I was bothering her. I explained that I would love to have my rehearsal dinner in the space advertised on the website. She told me she didn't have time for this, this is a dinner rush, and rudely laughed. She then told me it costs $2000 to rent one room! That is more than most wedding venues!! And it's a room, in a restaurant, that fits less than 50 people. She then told me she would call me back, which she never did! Needless to say, I do not recommend Houlihan's for your next event. Perhaps just dinner would be better.
Excellent every time. They should have more craft beer selections.
