charge 3 dollars per cup of ice. oh and it barely had some pepsi in that as well. i was visited only once by the waitstaff. that was to order my food and drink. go to confront the waitress about charging me 3 dollars per pepsi, and all i got was a snoody remark "its your fault for not asking" and she then walked away leaving me to accidentally spill my cup of ice on the floor. will not return and will tell friends and coworkers not to go to this destination.
"No substitutons" is their policy, and that means that if you are on any kind of specific diet and can't eat, say, the fries that you're paying for, you just have to deal. And they take the policy seriously. VERY few options for low-carb eating. What I tried wasn't remarkable, but I was really restricted in what I could eat.
We enjoyed the Crazy R's just about every night for a month while I worked out in Goodland. The food was awesome and the best fries in the world. I liked it so much I just may drive out the from Cincinnati to have a steak.
Food was decent, prices reasonable. The decor was interesting and fun...antique wagons, tricycles and signs. But, the service was awful. There were only a few other people there, and it took 5+ minutes for the waitress to take our drink order, we had to ask for drink refills. She wasn't very friendly to us or the other table, but seemed more interested in socializing with the lady sitting at the bar. She never even brought us our bill... we had to go up to the bar to get it and pay! Worst service we've had in a LONG time. .. we won't be going back
While the service is slow....the jalapeño poppers are delicious.
