These guys have some basic no-frills Thai food that is seriously spicy. They make their curries dry, which is a great change from the overly-soupy curries in most Thai restaurants. I've eaten at Thai restaurants all over the country, and this is one of my favorites.
Great Thai food needs restaurant improvements cuz it was way too hot in there
First, the service was good, but that was probably because hardly no one was there. That should have been my first clue. I was from out of town and i spent sometime trying to findo find a Thai resturant, so I felt commited to try it out once I got there. The egg rolls were as thin as pencils and you only get five. I got the green curry with chicken. And No Sticky Rice! What kind of Thai place doesn't have sticky rice? The curry was very dry. I've been to many Thai restaurants back on the east coast, but this place was the worst. That's what I get for eating at a Thai restaurant in the mid-West.
I have 2 favorite restaurants in the world and The Magic Kitchen is one of them. The Chicken Pad Thai, Asaparagus Chicken or Basil Chicken are my favorites. You must also try the Crab Rangoon, Eggrolls and Spring rolls. AMAZING.
If you like Asian Food, this place is a treat! Bring a cooler with some Booze and enjoy an evening!
