Pita Pita Mediterranean Grill

If you're looking for authentic and the best arabic food you've ever tasted, then Pita Pita is the place to go. My girlfriend and I went today and were blown away by its arabic and traditional appearance. From the paintings to the wall, to the hanging lights. To start off, the menu has a wide variety so theres no excuse for someone to not like at least one thing on the menu. I chose the Meat Combo. The prices are also very reasonable, I actually feel like I should've been charged more, thats how good it was. After having such amazing food I went to leave our trays and actually met the owner. Not only was the owner very ambitious to hear what I thought of their food and told him honestly and he truly cares about feedback and about the customers. WILL COME BACK!
THE BEST!!! I manage a business less than a mile away and we seriously get lunch from here at least 3 times a week. The food is cooked with passion... it has to be to taste this so great. I've eaten this food ever seas and Pita Pita is the closest I get to that!!!!
This is a great example of a well done family run business. The owners are great and they are truly invested in this restaurant. This dedication truly shows in quality of the food. The variety or the food and portion sizes are great. Every time we go there, there is always enough left over to take home for a anther meal. My wife and I have lived in Palatine for just over a year and it is places like this that confirm we made the right decision. Great job Pita Pita!!
Just moved into the area a month ago and it's been ages since I've had some good Mediterranean food, so I had to check this place out. I'm glad I did. Good, fresh ingredients and taste. Nothing was greasy, oily or over salty. The dressing on the salad that came with the Chicken Shawarma platter was great. It's difficult to get a good sour dressing that's not overly acidic. Staff was friendly and efficient. I forgot an item from my order and had to go back to order it, and got no flak about it. Good thing too, since if I forgot the grape leaves, my wife would probably lock me out until I got them. ;) I'll definitely be back.
Food is good, but the service and the owner suck. We used to go there about 3 years ago, and we stopped because the owner miserably failed. I had full dinner with my family and I ordered 2 very tiny pieces of baklava for desert. No price tag, I was charged $1.99/piece. I thought it was overpriced but they were delicious and I ordered 2 more, literally 5 minute after placing the 1st order, they wanted to charge me $2.99. WTF. Owner was there, he said 1st time was a mistake, and he can't honor that price. Really? 3 yrs later I decided to give them another try. I think the same guy, who is either the manager or the owner failed again. For several weeks I would go there at least once a week with a coworker for their lunch special, and I would have the meal without onions. Today, they said, "for that price we can't leave the onion out", and they let us walk out. I felt stupid for taking a coworker there. McDonalds would do it. I work in the middle between Pita Inn and Pita Pita. Guess who's not getting my business anymore.
