Service was poor. A Few tables occupied. Took several minutes to be seated. Hostess saw 4 people at counter only to realize they had yet to be taken care of. Once seated the waitress seemed overwhelmed. Asked for pumpkin bread numerous times only to receive at end of meal. Asked for refill on drink never to receive. When check was presented there was a $1.99 charge for the pumpkin bread. Had to return to edit. When paying, questioned why the charge for the bread... was told not part of the meal. Commented it would of been nice of the waitpress to comment. Let the manager know along with fact that did not receive until end of meal also that never received refill on drink. Her reply... ... ... not even an apology.
rude people, i could go into my whole story, but ill just say I won't ever go back to this place again. They don't handle things well at all, the staff doesn't talk. I'll drive clear across town if i ever want bob evans again.
the breakfast is outstanding.the meatloaf and mashed spuds are real good too.they beat out cracker barrel in my book.
