The BEST burgers in SWFL!!! Good service. Reasonable prices. Okay hours. Overall a great place to eat breakfast and lunch.

Good place to eat. Wife and I love this place. We visit it about 4 or 5 weekends in a row then try another place but anyway the food and help are great. I cant drink their coffee gives me the craps. Wife loves it. We will go back but like trying different places. Good friendly place. Prices average and fair. Good people run this place.

This is under new management and is called Rojo's.

Let me start off by saying I’ve been to Red -n- Margie’s no less than ten times, and I’m a local. So I’m not some one time customer who is ranting about a bad first-time experience. No, Red -n- Margie’s has been given several second chances by my family and they officially ran out today. My party of 4 was refused service today because the only table available to sit at was "reserved" for a potential party of 5 or greater. Staff didn't lift a finger to accommodate us by rearranging tables, rather they watched uncaring as we awkwardly left the restaurant. Obviously they don't care about losing customers, and apparently they've never heard the saying, "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." They willingly let 4 people walk out the door holding out for a party of 5. I hope that big table stayed empty all day long. I ask that you resist the urge to dismiss this as an isolated incident, because it wasn't. In fact, this is the second time that exact thing has happened. Further, on a separate 3rd experience at Red -n- Margie’s, I was with a party of 8. This time the circumstances were reversed. There was already a party of 5 seated at the "special reserved" table, and after being completely ignored for about 2 minutes, one of our party members took it upon himself to move two tables together so we could all sit down. Upon doing this he was literally SCREAMED at by the owner, Chris. I can accept one bad experience at a mom & pop restaurant, heck I can even reluctantly swallow a second. But sorry, 3 strikes you're out. Unacceptable. The customer should come first. And to indirectly insult us by calling us “angry and disgruntled” in a facebook post is just the icing on the cake. We aren’t angry and disgruntled, no, no, they got the words wrong. We’re ANNOYED and DISAPPOINTED with the consistent poor customer service we’ve received at their establishment. --review continued-- Maybe they're relying on regulars to keep them open at their new location and they couldn't care less about losing a few customers, whatever. But I'm going to make sure people know how we were treated in their restaurant. Good food and good prices, sure. But they have a long way to go when it comes to customer service, and personally I'd rather spend my money at a restaurant that deserves it. And to the few people who get to read this before it’s inevitably deleted by the owner, thank you for listening to what I had to say. I actually hope some of you are inspired to go try Red -n- Margie’s to see if what I’m saying could be true. And with any luck, after seeing this, the staff will try hard to provide you with an experience contradictory to this review. But they won’t get the chance with my family or friends ever again.

I have had lunch at red and margies many many times and have always had a good hot home made meal. I don't understand why someone who was disappointed in the service and the food would continue to go back numerous times only to complain on here with quite a letter!!! They must have liked something. Or they would not have returned soooo many times. And also you don't just take it upon yourself to move tables in ANY restuarant its rude, you ask the staff if its ok.
