Garcia's Seafood Grille & Fish Market
Reviews
They have good fish dip and crackers that they give you when you come here. The lobster bisque is excellent and stone crab is meh (sorry I come from the northwest where King crab is that much better). Still it is a step up from Joe's at about half the price. I would come here again the service was good and the price was better than other seafood places (still kind of expensive though). Also as a side note I was absolutely blown away by the Key Lime Pie and I would highly recommend it.
Great atmosphere and daily specials are very good. My favorite is the blackened dolphin sandwich with a side of salad. A MUST is the home made key-lime pie with a cortadito to wash it down. I asked and they actually make it there everyday fresh!
I love Garcia's when I want a down to earth seafood restaurant with nice ambience. It sits on the Miami River. I love siting outside so I can catch some rays and see the water.
Disappointed. I recently moved to Miami from New England and heard this place has fresh, authentic seafood in the rough. Just 1 week ago I was in Gloucester, MA at a great fish place and was hoping Garcias could scratch the itch while in Miami. First, the staff was rude and unhelpful. This is inexcusable. The food was ok, portions seemed small. The price was much higher than it should have been.
Well I ordered a dolphin sandwich and it tasted like straight whopper (burger king) pretty disgusting and the ceviche was really small and overpriced
